Medication Aide Refresher Seminar
Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services (DADS) and Texas Health and Human Services (HHSC) requires a 7 hour refresher course for hour continuing education. This seminar meets the requirements for maintaining certification. Students who successfully complete the course and exam will receive an updated medication aide permit from the state. It is recommended to take the Medication Aide Refresher seminar 90 days prior to your medication aide permit expiration.
Please do not register for this course if you are not a current medication aide in the state of Texas.
You must have access to a computer with an internet connection, and you must be able to complete the course at one time, you cannot exit and resume the course. You must pay the via $50.00 fee before starting the refresher course. Please fill out the Registration form correctly so that you will receive your certificate of completion after course completion, and so that your information may be sent to the state. Information will be sent to the state within 24-48 hours after course completion.
