Course Description

• Students will learn terminology used in anatomy associated to blood collection.

• Students will be able to understand and follow proper protocols and procedures used in a laboratory environment such as proper site preparation and collection of capillary and venous specimen for transport to the laboratory to ensure stability of the sample, logging specimens into the laboratory and processing of laboratory specimens
• Our National Certification Exam is accredited through National Health Career Association (NHA)

• Submit a completed Phlebotomy Technician Program Application

• Transcripts of High school graduation, Transcripts or GED completion

• A criminal background check
